MARANGONI PLANT

FOR ENERGY PRODUCTION

Dear director,

The MARANGONI Plant burns 15,000.00 tons annually - primarily tires; however, other waste materials are also burned. The plant produces 21,000,000.00 KWH per year.
Other waste can be treated with the same production of electric energy, since the size and system dimension of such plant is similar. For example:
  • Remnants of demolition from cars - 20 to 22,000 tons per year -following EWC codes 191003-191004
  • Hospital waste (usually in boxes) - approximately 20,000 tons per year - following EWC codes 1801
  • Refuse - derived fuel/solid secondary waste: this is fuel that is produced from the treatment of municipal or urban waste - approximately 20 to 22,000 tons per year.
  • Pulper (CER 030307) is paper industry waste
  • Dry sewage sludge
All of the above-mentioned waste categories (together with tires) may be mixed up to 10 to 15% and can be used in conjunction with the main waste. It is essential that the waste is not too fine in grain size.

Cordialmente
